Does anyone have any insight as to how I could learn Workday and other payroll systems? My company is on UKG Ready and I would like to boost my resume and try to learn the ins and outs of other HRIS before applying to other jobs.

The official Workday training is only offered to current Workday clients but there are unofficial YouTube channels that post overview videos or HCM tutorials to at least give you a feel for what the system is like. My suggestion would be to find a company that currently uses Workday and apply there, I started out with 0 Workday experience but was able to pitch myself with the Excel, reporting, and analytics experience that I had, which come in handy for utilizing Workday.

Last time I checked (c. 12mo ago) you can only learn Workday via a Workday client. I would recommend changing jobs to work for a Workday client and ask them to sponsor you, as the courses are expensive (c. $2000)

I’m interviewing for a marketing manager role at a company based in SF. I’m genuinely excited about the role and the company but we’ve yet to discuss salary. I expect to be asked at some point, but my research has given me a VERY broad range. So I’m here to do a bit more research. I’m planning on quitting my job but I am working out of town. Did a first interview with hr rep, went very well. she set up the hiring manager meeting for a few days later. Met with the manager. Another great conversation, went over time and was told I’d hear back about panel set up. Following day I get a request from hr rep to “continue the conversation” with manager. This is set up Tuesday.
Why do you think the manager wants to meet again? Good? Bad? I felt great about the interview when we ended.

I'm holding an offer from MakeMyTrip and another offer from OlaElectric. Ninjacart is willing to make me an offer. But they're saying that they'd discuss the offer only after the other company that I'm interviewing with has come up with an offer first. There's been a delay from HRs of the companies in a similar way. How do I urge them to send me the offer letter without sounding pushy? I had reached out to some of the HRs myself. Would that be too awkward if I accept & back out their offer?

Can someone explain me what's going on with Accenture recruitment? My joining date was 29th of this month. HR called me day before yesterday and preponed it to 26th, later today she called and saying that due to high volume of candidates, the Onboarding is freezed and so my candidature is pushed to September 5th. I am currently a care coordinator with one of the big insurance companies. Our company of 110 EEs has separate providers for payroll and HRIS, not happy with either products. I’m gathering data to make a pitch to move everything into an all-in-one HRIS + payroll.

Does it make any difference to make the change effective the first week of 2023 payroll, or to make a change in payroll providers mid year? I’m thinking it’s best to start fresh at the beginning of the year and not worry about two payroll companies for reporting. What are other things to consider?

We're trying the traffic booster feature on zip recruiter, it was like 5 for $108 each. We have jobs in cities that will post for like 10 days and get 1 view 0 applies. So we're trying it out. Has anyone used it before?

During the pandemic we started incorporating SparkHire for one way video interviews and now my hiring managers are super attached to it. It was intended to cut down on rounds of interviews - one SparkHire + 1 in person meeting. But now I'm seeing a lot of candidates drop off and not follow through on the spark hire. Is there any argument to hold onto one way video interviews anymore or should I drop it?

SmartRecruit transition went through last year, the career site out of the box is super basic and we're not seeing direct applies come through

Any tips/tricks for increasing career site traffic? Has anyone ever built out a careers site separate from their ats?

We are a midsized Healthcare provider with around 900 employees. We are in the market for a new HRIS. We want as close to an all in one solution as possible. We currently use a combination if iSolved, iCims, and timestar. Anyone have recommendations?
