Setting up Smart Recruiters Smart CRM and trying to come up with content subjects that aren't consistent "hey here's a job themed", there's a function to set it up like a drip campaign. Any suggestions?

How are you finding Smart Recruiters?

So far I really like it.

- takes some admin work bc every employee needs to be registered and access set up
- we moved our pre employment screening to them with AssureHire and it's actually about 50% less per search than our previous vendor, plus AssureHire handles all the adverse notices rules which is great bc we're multi state
- it's been a wonderful platform for my hiring managers - it's easy to use and very transparent to see what has been covered for each candidate and by who. Our hiring teams have usually 2-3 people each so before there was a lot of massive email chains going back and forth.
- integrate with LinkedIn via a direct apply link works beautifully
- our site traffic is still really poor (we're still double listing on other job boards and either asking those leads to apply or manually migrating them into the system, this accounts for about 80% of our candidates in the system right now)
- because we're using it soup to nuts the metrics about our hiring process have been really constructive

I wish that their career site options were better. They just took over Attracx (sp?) But it's an additional add on.

I also really wish they integrated with SparkHire and with Adobe Sign, we're still sending offers outside the platform bc they only partner with DocuSign and we didn't want to switch.

We went to SR from Oracle, and to Oracle from Talent Pool Builder. It's better than Oracle in every way that we need it to be but TPB had better jobs distribution.

So here's the deal: I've been in the industry for 8 years now—and I still feel my best work is my spec work. Is there a point at which it's simply no longer appropriate to show spec work in a book?

Will they be giving me the bonus, if yes what shall I get as a reference from them. Please advise. TIA

Looking to get an Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti sometime this year. Brand new the MSRP is about 45K and despite the reputation of the old Alfa Romeo’s from the 90’s these seem to be night and day more reliable. Would you recommend buying new, leasing new, or buying used? If I bought used it would be anywhere from 2019-2021

Indeed sponsoring keeps getting progressively more expensive - set a daily max run for $25 and got (8) applies within 3 hrs but the actual spend was $62.

What the hell.

Does anyone here have advice on how to get into an entry level HRIS role? Places to look? Are there any certs that matter?

If you find this drop a comment and share what you've hated/loved. I've hated:
ApplicantStack
Talent Pool Builder
Oracle Recruitment Cloud TextRecruit (a neat idea but sooo not worth the cost per applicant imo) Career Builder (its odd to include on this list but it is)
I'm ambivalent about: Zapify (the thing that imports resumes from other places into your ats - so clunky compared to a manual upload)
SmartCRM - still new but it seems like an afterthought to SmartRecruit

Career site development looking into Attrax, recently acquired by smart recruiters which we just implemented.

Any thoughts on formal career site vs. out of the box career page that's kind of basic?

SmartRecruit transition went through last year, the career site out of the box is super basic and we're not seeing direct applies come through

Any tips/tricks for increasing career site traffic? Has anyone ever built out a careers site separate from their ats?

Our company of 110 EEs has separate providers for payroll and HRIS, not happy with either products. I’m gathering data to make a pitch to move everything into an all-in-one HRIS + payroll.

Does it make any difference to make the change effective the first week of 2023 payroll, or to make a change in payroll providers mid year? I’m thinking it’s best to start fresh at the beginning of the year and not worry about two payroll companies for reporting. What are other things to consider?

We are a midsized Healthcare provider with around 900 employees. We are in the market for a new HRIS. We want as close to an all in one solution as possible. We currently use a combination if iSolved, iCims, and timestar. Anyone have recommendations?

Does anyone have any insight as to how I could learn Workday and other payroll systems? My company is on UKG Ready and I would like to boost my resume and try to learn the ins and outs of other HRIS before applying to other jobs.

During the pandemic we started incorporating SparkHire for one way video interviews and now my hiring managers are super attached to it. It was intended to cut down on rounds of interviews - one SparkHire + 1 in person meeting. But now I'm seeing a lot of candidates drop off and not follow through on the spark hire. Is there any argument to hold onto one way video interviews anymore or should I drop it?

We're trying the traffic booster feature on zip recruiter, it was like 5 for $108 each. We have jobs in cities that will post for like 10 days and get 1 view 0 applies. So we're trying it out. Has anyone used it before?
