Don’t get why audit VC taken away at KPMG. Was told avg audit salary less than advisory due to the risk premium they have for potential recession. They still get full salary and job security now?

No one is saying this but it’s 💯 correct. You can’t take the upside and force other people to take the downside.

Shows where firm priorities are at. I agree 100% with this.

I’m in deal advisory and am at 130% utilization... along with a majority of my other peers.

The advisory folks will be the first to go when they aren’t able to bill anymore. Their ability to work and chargeability is assessed on a daily basis in a weak economy. At least that was the case in my days in the Big 4.

Different reactions in different firms, I guess. Nationally our firm's layoffs are very heavily weighed towards advisory. Audit and tax are being largely untouched by COVID-related layoffs.

When I left Nagarro around 2 years back my fixed there was 11.50. Shall I consider this offer of Nagarro. Reason I want to change the job is because I don't have code based automation in my current organization and I have been an SDET in my whole experience.

Hello guys, I am a ML Engineer by profession and have recently heard about the AI Centre of Excellence at TCS.

I've that the COE team is supposed to guide TCS employees on client end. However, I've also heard that as they do not generate any profits, TCS moves them to client side as soon as possible.

Could anyone please share some insights about work at the AI COE at TCS? How's the team and how's overall growth in terms of skills and payscale? Are there any drawbacks of joining AI COE?

Hey all, Happy Monday. Curious for feedback on how you've seen severance offers approached.

My prior companies have always been what I thought of as average: min of 2 weeks plus extra week for every year for ICs, min of 4 weeks plus extra week for every year for managers, etc. for Directors & beyond.

Current co refuses to offer more than 1-2 weeks, max. I had to go to bat recently for a 3 year + manager level only to get 3 weeks and my leadership team is NOT happy with me.

Thoughts?
