Dumb question but humor me, I’m not familiar with financial services - is working in advisory at the big 4 as coveted/prestigious out of college as working as a financial analyst at a big IB like Morgan Stanley? Peoples backgrounds and salary seem extremely similar.

Can a person just say that he cannot disclose his current salary while negotiating an offer and just mention his expected salary (which may be 2x current one) , because if the current salary is low ,the expected salary can't be too higher than current one ? Never seen such a case so just asking

Anyone knows how much a commercial operator for Shell salary is Also during my application, they requested to fill expected salary. I left it blank as I couldn’t type “negotiable” (blank only accepts numbers). How does one answers this question ?

Is there such things as FP&A positions in Big 4? If so, are there better times to make the change than others (I.e. at senior vs manager)? I’m currently in FP&A and looking to work at a Big 4, or another company that offers the ability to move abroad.
