There's often something that you didn't anticipate (and can be good or bad, to be fair). The problem is that some red flags will only become obvious after you've been working somewhere for a while. I can recall situations where I wasn't happy about things, but I couldn't have foreseen the scenario before stepping into the role.
Depends on the stage of your career. I'm at my mid point and I currently value culture and work life balance vs making an extra 20k
Depends on the red flag.
Something like hybrid/remote work. You don’t want to get blindsided with an RTO you couldn’t afford to handle or got blindsided by.
I accepted a lateral salary move (they wouldn’t budge and gave every excuse in the book, despite my request being in their posted range). However the sign on bonus was enough to make it worth the move. Now that I’m with this company for just over a year (which I had to be to avoid paying back the sign on) it’s the most toxic environment I’ve ever worked in!
Recruiter here. Yes, you can renegotiate the offer now. You can approach with a "Based on new information learned, I'd like to....."
And the fee goes up with it!
A different, actually competent manager.

Depends on the flag imo
