How do you handle a subordinate that goes around your decision making and goes higher up in the food chain? My boss (and their boss) made it clear I’m supposed to review and provide feedback and yet now they are fully saying no and going around me. I tried talking to them and it didn’t go well and they raised their voice and got rude with me when I was only inquiring. it’s at the point where I need To have a convo with my boss and I feel like the boss needs to set the precedent here

Got braids. You'd think I literally got a face transplant from how shook my coworkers are. I will say this I love working with the students . I love getting to know them . I smile to myself when I go to work . I still feel this way after last week being asked my three different people about doing something where I told them that I was not going to do. following day I was then ambushed by admin (where I have never felt more like nothing. Following this encounter with people in charge I had an anxiety attack. This was terrible and I have no trust . TAs are mistreated. Similar story?

Have you tried encouraging cards highlighting their strengths? When’s the last time you said “Thank you” out loud to everyone in front of everyone? Bought lunch? Participated in a team building event? Encourage a team atmosphere and keep the lines of communication open. Just my thoughts
