Hi fishies, I am currently working as a Manager at Accenture for one of their MDM project. I have received an offer from Axtria. I have asked for 40% hike on my current CTC. There is no WLB in my current project, hence considering Axtria. If someone can help me understand the work culture in Axtria especially in BI segment.
I’m about to start an internship at IBM for UX Research. I’m super excited about it, and was wondering if anyone could tell me about the design culture there or how the company is for designers? So far online I’ve only heard about the company from consultants or software engineers. For more reference I’ll be working in Austin.

IMO, that’s SSLA’s weakness—the harsh divison of digital and traditional. Creatives should be able to think in terms of traditional broadcast and be able to round it out with a purposeful integrated digital component. The division leads to a rivalry of “oh tradional can’t do this” or “digital can’t do that."
@SD1 - i figured they knew, which is why they brought it up.
long story short: five years ago toyota decided to move HQ to dallas and just moved a year or so ago, wanted to keep saatchi as the agency (unprecedented, because they’d usually drop the agency), saatchi told them they didn’t want to move, because dallas talent is scarce, saatchi agreed to open a sister office in dallas to have boots on the ground there, some people moved while others were hired there, and when people quit LA, they hired some of them in dallas, so there weren’t layoffs. now we do 90% of the work remotely and CDs travel to dallas once a month or so to present work.
it’s actually pretty smooth, aside from technology never fucking working and meeting times being inconvenient.
there are zero plans to move/close the LA office, but the dallas office may grow from about 100 to maybe more. but the LA office is still 450 or 500 strong.
stop spreading stupid ass rumors, OP.
i guess we have different views on the agency, @OP. i don’t see the sky falling like you do.
@AD2 - sorry! i didn’t see this. i turn off 🐠 notifications. have been in meetings though. 2:30 at 🍿 !
But does Dallas S&S have the Del Amo “Fashion Center”?
We need art directors but we're also not hiring really because "money"
Not to mention the client is never going to buy anything interesting yet we still work our asses off fulfilling creative leadership’s pipe dreams.
So who is the recruiter at Saatchi??
This thread 👌
Do we think there's specific people making everyone run for the hills?
@cw3 lol. Toyota clients are some of the easiest I've ever dealt with.
@SC2 - you do realize we planned to open a sister office in dallas since the beginning, right? that was the deal.
@AD2 - 3rd :)
@s&s2 want to meet by the 🍿 at 12:15?
@s&s2 you did not show up☹️
@s&s2 I’m here!!!
i was there minutes before! looks like we’ll never meet, @AD2. i'll still be your friend, though 👍
@s&s2 one day but not today. Have a good weekend! This concludes a sad story of fishbowl missed connections.
Which producer quit?
I do agree that there should be WAY less division between digital and traditional creatives - it’s whack that the teams sometimes don’t even get briefed together...
We can’t even get two people to meet at the popcorn machine and you want a joint briefing?!
I hope they reveal themselves at the next All Agency meeting. 🤗
I mean the Dallas office *is* pretty awesome...
