I work in a fast growth population (300% in the last year) that does not have a unified approach to work habits (remote work, flexible hours, etc.) All roles can be done remotely, but there is a strong in house culture for the revenue teams. My gut tells me this is a pivotal time for executive leadership to take a soft stance on working expectations - but unsure how realistic that is. Has anyone been in a similar situation, how did you approach it, and what was the outcome? Thanks!
Hey fishes I know it's kinda depressing but that's what I am into so it's been months now with Amazon and I've working in a new role learning great stuff but here's the catch I don't have anyone to contact with like people here don't reply if you ask for help and if you even call out like they defend by saying they're busy . Forget favors they don't reply to "hey". I have total 2 yrs of exp so barely saw work culture at office. But I wanna ask is this normal or I'm overthinking.
Is it unreasonable to ask someone from PT timezone to follow ET hours for 1 month during critical phase of the project? To be specific.. starting 9AM ET. Work day typically gets over at 6p ET or sooner sometimes, and this person makes it such a big deal and makes it sound like they are doing team a favor.
Can anyone help me how is skillsoft in term of work culture, annual hike and career growth. Will be getting offer from them soon. Thanks you.Skillsoft Limited
Does anyone know about 'Clarivate Analytics' as a company? Please provide your reviews... How is the work culture? How is the yearly salary hike?
I have encountered a couple of racist clients this year. Is this because of remote work? The incidence of racial bias seems to be higher.

Which firms have an FDD presence in San Francisco? Is anyone able to speak to the culture of each firm?
Interesting statistic I just saw: Today 50% of women aged 30 do not currently have children. This is the highest it’s been since they began keeping records of it. 🤯
Red flags? I had an interview today and asked how the interviewers would describe the culture. They both took deep breaths and looked down. The first one said “it’s getting better.” And then went on to talk about the new ceo making the place more family like. The second interviewer said “there are definitely some strong personalities here.” And then went on to talk about some team members being uptight and others being chill. These seemed like red flags to me. Thoughts?
Someone recently pointed this out and made me curious. Is the work culture and ethic different for those in North vs South India? Thoughts?
Big law firms with the best and worst cultures? Let’s make a list. (Saw this in the comments on another post, but think it could use a broader audience).
Does pretty much every company require you to fight for raises in order to keep up with market value or are there companies that exist who are good about paying you your worth? If so, which companies are good at this?
Is K&E a toxic firm? I have heard nightmare stories from current and former attorneys there.
Am I crazy? I recently moved in with my girlfriend of 6 years. I am jewish - I go to temple and celebrate jewish holidays. Technically, she is half jewish half christian. She does not go to temple or church and basically only celebrates Christmas. Continued…
Genuinely curious why a few women shaming Indian culture and men in the main bowl? It looks like a trend and every week someone posts something about Indian food, Indian men etc. I have not seen any other cultures do it or Indian men doing it. Doesn’t mean Indian women they meet are perfect. Too fragile or it’s an act of attention seeking or shaming culture is new cool?
Hey MBB fish - across the entire US, which specific office at your firm is known as the best if you consider WLB + office culture as the biggest factors? Conversely, which office typically has the worst reputation in these aspects?
