EVLs for Green Card - suggestions? My past employer EVL is pretty generic from PwC HR and the Deloitte Perm process is requiring me specific responsibilities on the company letterhead. Thoughts?

How flexible is Deloitte with the start date because of H1b processing time? I signed the offer mid-may for July 12 because it seemed realistic enough for premium H1b transfer. But the lawyers seem slower than what I was used to and July 12 does not seem likely. Is this going to be a problem?

I spoke to HR about green card sponsorship. Requirements are at least a level 9 aligned to something that is in demand (Sap/oracle) Any experience in sponsorship without alignment to SAP/Oracle?

Why if you are on H1B is so much problematic for vendors looking for contractors ? Vendors keep on asking to join on W2 rather that Corp to Corp although for employees on H1B we cannot join on W2 due to immigration issues. Point being does it matter for end client , if the contractor is coming as W2 or not ?

If you leave the US because of failed H1B attempt with a L1 visa, how hard is it to move companies under the latter? If you decide to leave your employer, what is the process like to keep the visa?

I am not too involved in the project but I was in a few meetings and went on a field trip with them as well.
The position that I am applying for is in a different team and city.

However, tech consulting is definitely not my dream job. I want to get into data analytics, and I have an offer from a big company to do just that. I’ve only been at my current company for about 8 months, but I don’t ever see myself loving this job. How do I know when it’s time to make a change?
