Bain & Company Hello, I received an offer as a Senior Practice Manager at Bain. The profit sharing range is 0-12% in the offer letter. Is it typical to receive the midpoint (6%)? Also, what do the annual salary increases typically look like? Any insights are much appreciated. Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group McKinsey & Company

How about this: we just had an all hands where they told us we will not get salary adjustments, raises and bonuses will be low, we need to start going back in the office, and this app is filled with toxic whiners.

G5, yes I can. Instead of telling people to leave a bowl, why don’t you simply mind your own business?
I don’t know where this stigma that Guidehouse is a toxic culture comes from. I’ve worked at both EY and Deloitte (in addition to public positions) and Guidehouse is by far the most positive and collaborative culture I’ve worked in. Our motto is literally “we don’t hire assholes” lol. What segment of work are you looking at? Pay is subpar compared to competitors but the workplace culture is what retains me
The culture at GH is better than my last gov contracting company as well as the investment firm I worked for. You want terrible culture and piss poor raises? Working for an investment firm. You have to remember MOST people, not all, but most come to FB as a means to express their frustration or “complain” anonymously. So you’re going to see more negativity here
Never worked for GH, but have respect for their commercial energy practice’s (formerly Navigant) impact on the industry. Was in the recruiting pipeline for a role, but chose to withdraw and take an opportunity at a small firm.
GH continues to be on the radar. Will prob work there someday. Everyone I met there seemed like great folks to work with/for
Overall GH has great empathetic leadership that cares about you. I agree with the comment above, there are a few bad apples that slip through and do not care about the people, only delivering the work and can make or break your experience.
Worked at GH for a year then jumped to Amazon for a significant bump.
Yes I can refer you as a network connection if the roles a good fit for your experience. You have to find the roles though and provide your resume.

Pay is a bit subpar unfortunately, but I think it’s a good place on the whole. I have lots of talented people on my team from top 30 schools. Work is interesting (I’m not in Federal). People are generally nice. We’re a bit rough around the edges (e.g. IT, expenses) but I like it here.

There are a lot of people who have great experiences at GH, but I also agree that a few bad experiences with management or on a team are enough to ruin years of good experiences. it's a shame.
