Rising Star
Have heard Newton is like a cult - most people don’t stick around that long but some fit the mould and stay forever
Culture seems great, people I met there when I interviewed seemed great
Salary is super competitive, in line with T2 / MBB
Work tends to be public sector focussed though

Had a weird experience interviewing with them at undergrad analyst level. Their grad recruitment marketing kept pushing that you get a company BMW along with repeatedly highlighting the starting salary (around ~40k iirc). Just felt odd, and so did the assessment centre they ran
How exactly would you say the assessment centre was odd? It's very long (8am-530pm), however, any other insights? I have mine tomorrow
Friend of mine has worked there for almost 4 years. Salaries are competitive. They have not adopted a post COVID flexible working policy and forced people on site through COVID. 80% of their revenue comes from public sector, mostly defence. You won't get much choice on projects. As mentioned above, the culture is very much a cult, you've got to be willing to put Newton in front of anything else, even your personal life (you will be asked to share rooms with colleagues at work events...). If you fit in, there's a clear path of progression.
Interesting D1, how would you describe the cult?
@D1 you could say the same about any consulting firm?
