Hi ! I have gotten an offer via email for what I believe is level 9 data visualization specialist in the dc area. I have a masters and 3.5 years of consulting experience. I’ve gotten an initial offer and trying to get some context on what the range is for this and whether I should push for more or accept. So, a recruiter sent me a HackerRank assessment and I went to complete it and it was so easy? Is this a red flag or a shit test or something? Like there was a number sequence: “1234567”, and it corresponded to a word: “Surgeon”. Then it was the word: “Snore”, which corresponded to “36425”. and then I had to figure out the number that corresponded to: “Rogue”. It just seemed too easy, why even have it besides creating another barrier to a possible offer? Should I tread carefully here?
