I am curious how other inclusion teachers are being utilized when the school is doing remote learning. I find that I am sitting in the zoom class and have very little opportunity to contribute. I am having discussions with my teachers on ways that I can better support them and the students when remote.
PwC SDC Bangalore HRs are verbally promising permanent work From Home/Anywhere. Do you think it's going to be like that or they will call to office in coming months ? It's just a trick to attract candidates.
How do you work from home with two kids under 4? I got some weekend assignments, but am literally interrupted every 30-60 seconds. Going insane, send help.
Have any of your firms discussed a flexible WFH policy post-pandemic? I’m happier & my hours are through the roof. I want to approach management with policy ideas for people like me who are thriving.
Interviewing at Oliver Wyman for an internal role, any insight into WFH as an option sometimes?
My wife is pregnant. Do the general courtesies of telling your manager/work beginning of 3rd trimester still apply during covid/work from home? Her industry has been hit hard and her job has been doing furloughs and layoffs. We can get pretty far without telling due to WFH but don’t want to put her boss in a bad position either.
Does anyone know of any website that lets you filter in-house positions by those who allow remote work? I’m assuming this does not exist but wanted to see if any of y’all have any thoughts.
Considering an offer from Facebook for L5 Manager (Non-tech in recruiting) in Austin (remote). TC started at 178. Now 200 TC which I’m told is top of the pay band. Kinda confused because TC feels low for L5 people manager and pay sounds like L5 IC Austin pay. Any thoughts on if this is competitive or if you get a pay cut for working remote? Data to consider: interviews went really well, currently at Google (considering the move for growth to manage 12-20). No info on lvls.fyi for this role
Please please please go back to fully remote
You'd think I'd be used to waking up alone every morning by now! The loneliest part of WFH. :(
I make over a quarter of a million dollars a year working in finance and since wfh over half my "work hours" time I'm just playing video games or reading a book.

Starting to interview for full time positions- how irrational would it be to ask to work from home one-two days a week if hired?
Long story short - my nanny has many conservative values - mom shaming breastfeeding in public, gender specific roles, considering boys better than girls etc. it never bothered me before and I have learned to co exist with her however now my toddler is speaking and understanding more I am worried about him being influenced by her. Further she also has comments against my SO being too involved parent & calling out son as cutie, hugging toddler etc as he is a boy. Contd..
I plan to book a flight to Europe with points for Friday. 30k points for an econ seat or 70k for a Lufthansa business seat? I would book with my United points.
Is there any way to retain my Delta platinum for next year? I will hit the annual spend requirement through my flights, but only 60-80% of the MQM or MQS requirement.
What would be better, Business class on an Asiana a380 or business class on an Air China Boeing 747? From those who have done both.
Every interview round of mine has been three week apart from each other. Is this how slowly I should expect google to work if I get an offer and join? I’m so tired of the interview process. Takes forever to figure out if I’m moving to the next round and then forever to schedule the next round. It’s such a frustrating candidate experience.
Any fun ideas for a gender reveal? (Not mine but for a friend). Only 6 of us will be there
Gonna be within 1k of delta diamond. Unlikely to reach again next year. Should I go for diamond this year or rollover to guarantee platinum for 2017 and 2018? Or have diamond 2017 and gold 2018?
6.2% raise - rated 2 and promoted from C to SC... how would anyone be satisfied with that and the increased responsibilities that come with it? Time to be listen to those LinkedIn recruiters
I'm gonna be real: People of color are 100% treated differently in my group. Diversity and inclusion are merely rhetoric and marketing collateral.
What's the real difference between Advisory and Audit? As an ongoing intern to advisory with DT, I'm curious for unfiltered thoughts.

Has any ACN folk gotten anything useful from their recognition points - just got awarded 50pts and don't know what they can be used to buy
Heard there’s a bro culture and long hours. They’re hiring but concerned Momentum won’t be a fit for a working mom creative. Who has insight into the vibe there?
I’m a mid-level working in a niche area in NYC. I like the work I do, put in long hours, high quality work, take time to mentor juniors, etc. I see myself at a law firm long term but now wondering if this is the right firm to make partner. Among others, one big concern I have is the non-existent emphasis on diversity and inclusion initiatives (they aren’t even pretending to care...), no committees, no statements in support of POC, etc. How do I find firms really committed to these issues?
So its almost 2 yrs for me and starting to feel like I should have some letters after my name. Looking for a designation that is worth having but not intense as the CFP
Hola a todos. Here comes a moon shot: I am looking to host an au pair but both wife and I are still not US Permanent Residents and we can’t go through the official program. Anyone has a friend/ relative Spanish speaker that would like to come for as long as their Visa allows? I have a full room with own bathroom for the nanny and live close to NYC (New Jersey suburbs). I can give more details on private but flight + good salary is guaranteed
Can you please share any software your firm uses that you find helpful? Including any add-ons to Microsoft office (for example: excel power query for indexing folders). Also, do you use any internal messaging system (maybe something like slack)? Thanks!
Looking to specialize in privacy and was considering getting the CIPP/CIPM/CIPT. I already have my CISSP and CISA. Is it worth it?
