I have interview scheduled and completed from Commonwealth Bank Bangalore location. All technical rounds cleared.
When I called HR i got a surprise answer..
They mentioned the position which I have intervied is different than the salary rem ranges. And my current salary is higher than position what they have got and asked for approval for rem ranges changes..
Is any one faced this? Ideally HR should know expectation and allocation before scheduling intervjew..

I would suggest looking into programmatic ads, I think they would use your skills for placing and designing
Thanks for this suggestion!
Why don’t you consider PR specifically influencer marketing? It’s fun and requires your skillset and it’s far less stressful than SMM.
I've actually worked with influencers quite a bit through my old role and I loved that work! Can be also stressful at times working on the brands side but this type of work plays to my strengths and is pretty funnnn
You could look into public relations, communications coordinator, copywriting etc.,
How do you feel about sales? Or maybe consulting?
Consulting would be a great fit. Get some minions to do the actual execution and you've got an agency haha
I went from SMM to copywriting. You sound like you have a similar skill set and interests. Writing/content was always a passion of mine, which I made known to my superiors. They then gave me more content work and also the chance to work with different departments like UX, to get some
Web writing experience. It’s VERY likely you will have to switch agencies in order to get into copywriting, though. What I did was go to smaller shop to gain experience and the title, then back to a larger agency. As much as we both know how much work social media managers put in, creative directors don’t necessarily see the worth, which is why you probably need to jump ship to have a chance.
Yes, I actually put my notice in and am finishing up my 2 weeks. I am going to take 2 months to apply for jobs and take a mental health break while I figure out my next step. UX/UI is very interesting to me and I'd love to explore this more. I actually took an intro class through the Interactive Design Foundation and really enjoyed it.
