Serious question, should I announce on LinkedIn that I will be starting a new chapter in life and will be joining xyz company? I see many people do it but don’t understand the value of any.

Be sure to thank your family, friends, and mentors along the journey. Update your title to "INCOMING analyst to bigly4" and use the latest corporate hashtags e.g. #consluting4lyfe #couldnotbemoreproud

I for one have recently got an opportunity of a lifetime by being an independent entrepreneur at Herbalife.

But were you humbled about being an entrepreneur 😝

Pls no. Updating your job is enough

The only serious choice you should make is whether you want this change reported to your network or not. Please don't do those silly posts (unless your story is so incredibly unique that none of us have seen it and would greatly benefit from knowing it).

I wonder if those posts are something college career centers recommend to students? 🤔

Yes go for it especially since Instagram is turning off the like feature. We must have another social network to inflate our ego with likes from people right? 🙄🙄🙄🙄

Hi 👋 Any good UX books for senior designer level that helps with strategy, and good frameworks, or anything that will help me with my thought process? I have the basic books like don’t make me think, and 100 things. I’ll be joining a startup soon as chief designer, and will be back to being a full stack designer — I’ve been an IC for the past few years, so I definitely need to improve on strategies and maybe frameworks when it comes to UX. Will appreciate any suggestions. Thanks! 🙏🏻

Additional Posts in Consulting

I’m graduating from my MSA program and I have two offers:

1) FDD @ KPMG

2) CMAAS @ PwC (trying to move offer to valuations)

I want to use these TAS roles to move into more M&A advisory roles like IB/Corp Dev. PwC comp is a decent amount higher due to the $10k salary increase so it makes the decision a bit harder. Would CMAAS make it impossible to make the jump to IB-type roles due to how much technical accounting is involved?
