Finally making the switch to a standing desk—any recs? And advice for standing for a long time? (Cushy Floor pads/shoes/etc)

A little late here, but any suggestions/recommendations or watch outs for an automatic standing desk preferably with charging attachments? Looking to invest in a decent one around $2-300 !

Anyone using your tv as a second monitor these days? Any advice on doing this wirelessly or without a giant HDMI cord going across my living room? I tried chrome cast and I don’t want to just mirror my screen, I need a dedicated second monitor. Thanks!

Working on a regular desk and my laptop has been killing my back and neck for last few years. Finally spent a couple hundred dollars on a standing desk, wireless keyboard, and back/neck heating pad to alleviate the pain. Very hopeful working will be much better now.

Goals:
* Own a home in a HCOL
* 2 kids (eventually)
* Retire at 50 on $125k/year.

Envelope math:
* $125k/year would require an investment portfolio of ~$3M.
* Targeting a $2M home (split with partner)
* 2 kids - $1M to raise both (including college fund, split with partner)
* $500K buffer for unexpected expenses

Therefore, 6.5-7M retirement savings needed. To hit this (assuming 6% return after inflation), I’d need to save ~$110k/year.
