Accountants should thoroughly understand the neutral principle of due diligence. With the on going College Admission Scandal any administration should be prudent before allocating taxpayer's funds. Especially to the tune of BILLIONS when Harvard has a $53 BILLION Endowment already. There's been many senate hearings about the amount of fraud going on in many U.S. institutions for years. Unfortunately, it's just been many conversations and at best disputes on the senate floors but no one until now was willing to do anything significant about it. That entire $9 BILLION should go back to the taxpayers.
Sigh.
