Finished my MBA and recieved a Senior Consultant offer from EY (3YOE). The pay (90 base+ 10 signing) is what I was making in manufacturing ops pre-MBA (with a guaranteed raise of 10% every year). Negotiating the pay right now but is it worth switching to consulting and taking this "pay cut"? Is the big4 grind worth?

My job asked me to increase my work load without promotion. How do I ask for more money or politely decline? I do a lot already and they are refusing to promote me and I’m sick of it. I’m amazing at what I do and I have been with them since they opened.

If your workplace does not formally set guidelines or expectation for conversations about wages, then what is an appropriate time to present a case for a raise?

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?

I was hired on with a company at the same time as my male coworker. We work the exact position, different projects.
I asked him flat out what his salary was when he hired on. His salary is at minimum 15% more. He’s never had a raise.
Neither one of us had any experience in this specific position but he didn’t even have experience in tech, which I did.
I requested a performance and salary review via email b/c it’s my annual review time anyway. Best way to address this? Also applying elsewhere.

Has anyone tried just not complying with RTO? I’m a C/O 2020 in a NY corporate group and my firm recently set a date for returning to office 3 days/week. Amazon FLDP vs Gartner Consulting (post-MBA level). I am worried taking Amazon will close the door for consulting in the future. Amazon comp - 130k base + 80k sign-on bonus (~45k first year, ~35k second year) + 100k RSU (4 year vest). Gartner - 125k base + 15K EOY Bonus + 10k sign-on bonus.
