After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

What kind of message are you trying to get across with the Rolex? To me, I would rather have my fashion be understated and speak with my skills and experience, rather than be remembered as the "Rolex guy."
Yes too much. Stay casual and business like.
If you're unsure about the company vibe, it’s better to play it subtle. You want them to focus on your fit, not your watch.
Late to the game, but depending on the role your interviewing for and the comp, it’s fair to assume that the interviewers comp is equal to or greater than that and the Rolex, could be a conversation piece to break the ice. Especially if the interviewer is into watches.
But I’m a watch guy, and have talked to my clients and prospective clients about watches for way longer than we actually talked shop…
There is like 1000 snobs on a planet that recognise rolex. The rest wouldn’t know if it’s Casio or £10 Amazon watch unless you literally stand up and show it up to them up close like “look what am I wearing!” in which case I doubt you get the role…
If anything, Rolex shows that you are *not really* into watches
Only people who are interested in watches or fashion will even care. I couldn't tell if you were wearing a Rolex, but might note that your watch is big and doesn't have many features like modern smartwatches or even fitness trackers do.
I personally would either skip on wearing the watch or keep it hidden and out of sight on my wrist, mainly because you never know what people are thinking or if they’re the jealous type.
Rolex does not do that lol. But tbf depends on which one - simple explorer probably fine, Daytona or even a daydate or DJ feels flashy. If you’re trying to highlight your interest in watches go for something else that says the same message
Will probably just go with no watch similar to virtual interviews
I am a Senior Accountant and have worked for both small Accounting firms and for Large Accounting Firms such as MW&E. My predicament right now is if I leave where I am currently employed, he may have trouble finding a replacement for me. I don’t want to say that I am such a wonderful Accountant but on the other hand I would not want to leave him in a lerch.
A company will fire you in a minute if it's what they need or decide without a second thought about your welfare. Agreed to do what's best for you. Sounds mean but companies make "business decisions" all the time that aren't "personal".
If you are asking the question, then you have your answer.
Potential downside, zero upside. Seems clear. If you want a chance at having a watch convo you could wear something less expensive but interesting
I ended up wearing nothing on my wrist but COO was wearing panda.
