Advice and/or consolation anyone? My wife and I (both above average health 30year olds) were trying for 11 months before getting pregnant and then had a week 5 early miscarriage a few months back. First 2 years for CSR is about to be over, and I’m looking at the value of the card against the annual fee. Combined with my other cards (Chase Freedom Unlimited & Flex) and deducting the $300 travel fee, the net benefit is $76. Is that enough to justify keeping the card? The lounge access at airports were a nice benefit, never got to use it since my client travel was through Amtrak.

I left an omnicom agency for a Publicis one. My new benefits cost me 250 a paycheck (medical, dental, vision) for my spouse and kids. At omnicom it was 630 per check. That’s fuckin robbery right there.

My adland exit: I worked in new biz for 8+ years and was burning out. For a while I’d been feeling like a cog in the capitalism wheel and needed a higher purpose than pitch decks!

I wanted to work in sustainability to tackle the climate crisis and through a series of moves (AMA 👍), I’m now leading global marketing for an NGO called Forest Stewardship Council. A huge relief.
