Yeah, it does matter.
Don’t do it.
I owned the Mercedes 350 for quite some time. It was a good car. Problem was anytime you had to have maintenance done. Cost an arm and a leg ! Parts and service prices on those cars are ridiculous. Just to get an oil change was 400 bucks! If I was a first time buyer, I would buy something like a Toyota, Nissan, maybe even a Honda depending on what year and mileage it is . I know those cars don’t have the prestige and the “flash” of a BMW or Mercedes, but you can save yourself a lot of money in the long run. Let’s not forget about the car insurance. Car insurance on Mercedes is also pretty pricey!
Thank you for your endorsement kitchen manager, but I stand by my recommendations. I’ve owned over 25 cars and trucks! Every brand that I recommended I’ve actually owned. I can say that Nissan (which used to called Datsun) is a decent brand. It just depends on which model and year that you choose. And just like any brand, there’s some model years that are really good, and then there’s some years where they’ve had some significant challenges.
GLE is a great car. I’ve had mine for ~5 years, besides oil changes (which you could do yourself or pay a local shop $150-200) it requires absolutely 0 maintenance!
I would wait, see what their best price is, then come in with your comparable for other certified GLEs from other dealerships and show them how it compares. Feel free to dm me with specifics if you need help
If you have good credit you should try and find a pre-approved loan online and take it with you in your back pocket, when they show you what they can do for you and it’s not as good as your loan believe me you will live the loom on their faces when you pull out your own loan, I’ve done that a couple times at dealers and it never gets old.
