Flew business from Boston to Europe with Delta. We had 3.5hrs delay (so under the 4hrs delay for the EU law). I missed important meetings and the staff was quite rude. What would you ask?

What status do you have? What was the reason for the delay? And rude how?

Resume help

FYI - You wouldn't have been eligible for compensation under EU law anyways since you're flying a non-EU carrier to Europe and not the other way around

It was originally a round trip ticket starting from Europe (so this was the « return » leg). Wouldn’t the EU law apply then?

I ended up getting 20,000 miles.

I’m gold medallion. The delay was due to a mechanical issue with the plane, so we boarded with ~40mins delay and then waited in the plane as each time they thought it would take only ~30mins to fix the problem.

Its a VC funded startup & aggressively growing. I’ve never worked for a start up, so curious what everyone’s experiences are and any feedback would be super appreciated thank you!!

Lyft driver delayed picking me up 30 min, resulting in me canceling my ride and asking hotel to call me a “yellow taxi” to get to the airport because it was 5am and all ubers/lyfts were 15 min. Specifically said yellow. Hotel calls me a private lux SUV and the driver got out of the car to handshake the man who called and said hi (honestly money couldve been passed). I then get hit with a $180 ride. Marriott website says taxi should be $65. Should I complain or let it go?
