Folks, I’m a Project Leader in Systems Administration role with not enough background in programming. Fortunately I’m earning good now (34L) but I don’t think there’s a lot of future and growth so was planning for executive mba from ISB but that costs 35L!

I’m curious to know what kind of job roles should I expect after the completion of this course? Product Management, Program Management? What else would be fit for me seeing my 10 yrs experience so far?

Learned I was making less than peers at other asset managers in NYC with less experience (14 years). Latest conversation was with HR about how they calculate salaries. I’ve been asked to provide examples how my role has changed since I started to justify the increase. Is this normal? Or is this just their way of denying my request?

Started a new job a year ago, high performer. My manager suggested a promotion to Product Manager since that‘s the work I’m doing, but that would be a 50% raise. Higher ups decided instead to make a “new role” (not PM), that has no analog in the company and is hard to price via Glassdoor, etc. I feel like this is to limit my promotion salary to something like 10% from where it currently is.
