Can I use the mic on my phone for filming a project, or will it make a big difference to buy an external one?

Has anyone ever been uncomfortable with an assignment during interview process? Based on our convos, it seems like they would benefit greatly and learn a lot that they don’t know yet if I actually completed it. They could definitely use that knowledge and not hire me.

Context: This is for a tech company, in which assignments are normal in the interview process. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Looking for recommendations for vendors/consultants who offer manager training on how to proactively handle employee issues and leverage HR.

The HR/Ops department at my company was essentially annihilated before I was hired, so now that we are rebuilding, we need the training to help managers in other departments understand how and when to loop us in.

1. When a company makes an offer to a remote candidate should they consider the cost of living where the remote candiadate lives?
2. As a BDR with 6 months experience, living in Chicago, with 10+ experience in the working world (former teacher), getting an offer from a small health tech company (20 employees) what can I expect OTE to be?

I recently “came out” at my ad agency and listed my pronouns as they/them on zoom and in my email signature. I’m not expecting perfection at all and I’ve posted in Teams with helpful articles, offering to chat if people have questions.

But still, 95% of the company refuses to even address me by my pronouns, remotely try, or ask anything.

The agency itself is led by older conservative men, but I guess I expected at least some effort from younger employees.

What should I do?

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?

If a candidate went through the first offenders program and the charges were discharged without court adjudication of guilty and exonerated, will said charges show up in an employer fingerprinting background check?
