Heard general consensus is suit supply is good and indochino is bad
Personally I can only go
Custom as it fits my body type and measurements perfectly. Indochino does the job for me, with great customization.
Brooks brothers. Quality is good.

Idk what happened but the fabric doesn’t feel the same, they definitely are cheaping out on either vendors or material quality
Really depends.
1. Your body type - if you can wear off the shelf suits with my minor adjustments, this is the way. Get high quality wool suit and take it to a reputable tailor to make adjustments.
2. Bespoke- if you cannot wear off the shelf suit, go bespoke. You cannot tailor an ill fitting suit to be great fit. It needs to be made to fit you. Pre- pandemic I would say get a bespoke suit at Brooks Brothers and make sure you go with their higher end fabrics. Now, I don’t know.

This is the right answer. They give you a lot in suit construction for the price. I have two.
Or just get it custom-made, nothing like a custom suit
Pay the 2500 for a made to measure canali and enjoy
Depends on your price point? Most would be fine with a 100% wool suit from SuitSupply around $400-$500. Want nicer? Go to Nordstrom/etc. and jump into the $1K+ range. 100% MUST be tailored.
Suit Supply.
Burberry all the way. Expensive but I LOVE their suits
Bespoke now. Before that Burberry & Zegna
I have a bespoke tailor from Thailand who usually does a US tour. Can choose all your fabrics and get two shirts included. Can even personalize with initials / messaging in the suit jacket. Feel free to DM if interested
Custom tailoring. Dont get a suit thats too tight or too big
I buy my husband’s suits. It’s Brooks Brothers for a splurge suit. Men’s Wearhouse for everyday because they tailor

Brand matters less than fit and material.
Indochino is ok but your best option is to find a good, local tailor so you can have your measurements taken properly and get to feel the fabric for weight and quality.
Calvin Klein

Where are you based? Have a great tailor in NYC that I can connect you with
Curious about how much one of these costs… (not really a suit guy, but need to buy one in the next 3 months)
J Crew - The Men’s Shop
Knot standard is great customer shop
Anyone use Alan David?
For women, I love my kasper pieces from macys. Flattering colors and styles, change with the seasons, classic staples, and match year to year with new items. And affordable. They travel and steam well, don’t wrinkle or shrink.
And they have good plus size variety !
Alton lane, fit you for whatever price range you are in
I agree. Ted Baker if off the rack. If you’re fairly slim, they have the most stylish and quality fabrics. If you want custom, just go to any highly rated alteration shop. Most of them also offer custom suits. Expect to pay 2k - 3k for something nice.
