Faced this weird behaviour from Optum recently. Gave interview for Data Scientist position. HR said feedback is positive. Asked for documents. It's been month now since I have shared the documents. I have no update on the offer. Today I called HR, she called me back saying the position is on hold due to recalibration in team, She has shared interview feedbacks to other teams and will get back to me in couple of days. I am clueless now. My last working day is approaching (In a month). Any Help??

Honestly I think the DNC should have had Biden run in 2016 instead of Hillary. He was coming off an administration with Obama and for the most part it seemed like he was pretty well liked. I think the DNC could’ve used that as momentum into the election and he would’ve done better than Hillary. I do feel bad for him though because republicans rip him for his speech slip ups. I think overall he means well and he is trying to be genuine, I just think the way he connects with people is being misinterpreted most of the time. It’s no secret that he’s having some difficult during the election campaigning and I blame the DNC for that. They should’ve thought their choice through a bit more, he seems like a good guy and that he should be golfing with the other retired elected officials instead of being torn apart on national television by his own mistakes that I hate to say it, and I’m no doctor, but I don’t think his health is in the best place right now. Perhaps it would’ve been 4 years ago and he could’ve had a strong administration but I don’t think he’s going to win, and I don’t think he’ll probably try for another office after this (complete conjecture) so I do feel bad he couldn’t leave his career on a high note and leave strong being the VP to the historic event of the nation’s first black American President. It’s a shame the last impression of his political career is him in this declining state, I really do blame the DNC for that one. If they wanted to use him as a puppet, I think they should’ve picked someone else who has the strength and time to fight back. Also I’m not against Biden, I don’t like a lot of the policies the Democratic Party is pushing because I don’t think it’ll work out too well but I don’t at all dislike Biden. I do hate the destruction that’s happening and being pushed/ not being publicly criticized by the Democratic Party, I think that’s going to sway a lot of voters to Trump. Not necessarily because they like Trump, they just really don’t want chaos coming to their town which it seems the DNC is “okay with” as some people may see the situations

If Biden ran in 2016, he would be our president right now. He was a moderate who had conviction. Now he is a “transition candidate” who will give the reigns to Harris. Harris is a wildly progressive socialist who will radically change the economic system of America through wealth redistribution.
The Harris pick will give Trump the win.

They consolidated the non-Bernie candidates into Biden and let him win. It’s better for the Democratic party (and America) for Biden to lose to Trump than for Bernie to best Trump. Bernie would take the country too far the other direction. At the end of the day, Obama had to call all the other moderate candidates and get them to pull out and promise them future posts. Have to pick the old guy for that to work...

The reason that why polls is useless, is because people who tends to answer the poll, already has a political agenda, and the environment today, causing a good amount of conservatives don’t take polls at all. I would trust polls more, if this political environment is more inclusive.

Biden was easily the best person to run against Trump at this particular time.
I live in a swing state. Because republicans are both lazy and bad at their jobs, all the anti-Biden ads are the ones they hoped they could use against Bernie Sanders. When Biden won, they just swapped out the names...which is a big reason they’re ineffective.
Point being, Sanders/Warren would have been non-starters in the only states that matter in this election.

I regret it in the sense that he may be most electable in the short term, but I think outside of this trump insanity our (non-fringe) conservative friends would’ve been happily surprised with a Yang or Pete administration. Both are modern, even keel candidates
