At Bain you have to stay 2 years before leaving for business school

Any idea if that's two years before application or before matriculation?

In general yes for junior laterals, but you have to 1) join in at pre-MBA level 2) stay minimum ~2 years before applying

You may not be offered this as a senior associate at BCG but if you join as a fresh associate then you’ll be subject to the regular sponsorship policy

What would you all realistically expect for comp in corporate strategy at 8 YOE, 5 years MBB (analyst and manager) and 3 years Corporate Strategy? I have a feeling I’m a bit underpaid and going to try to have a discussion with my boss. I’m in a non-tech industry and haven’t really tested the market at all since I left consulting.

A question for recruiters. When you call someone asking them if they are interested in an opportunity and then ask them for a technical interview the next day and they ask for an extension does it impact their application? Recently it has happened to me twice that recruiter calls, he has my details and asks if I’m interested and then ask for same day or next day interview. And when I apologize since I actually have job to take care as well they just ghost me. Is this something that’s normal?

Feeling conflicted about wanting to leave my current company of a year where I feel I’m underpaid (despite praise from managers), though I love my coworkers and (sometimes) the work/clients. I know I can make a lateral jump somewhere else to make more, and I don’t want to get left behind in this hot market. I would be really sad to leave my current role, but really want/need more money. Anyone else going through this?
