I had some issues with my systems access but the team is great here and I started alongside a couple of others on my team which helped since we have all connected and we're in the same boat.
I started about 6 months ago in my industry role. From my experience working remote with a good company is wonderful and no problems at all. At the same time my old company I was on a terrible team and working from home made it worse then in person
Yeah...it’s going to feel weird regardless of how welcome an organisation or your team tries to make you feel. The learning curve is very steep and often you aren’t able to take advantage of some learning opportunities without feeling like a pest (which you otherwise would have easily picked up in an office setting by observing).
Makes asking questions weird since everything is a meeting these days
I just ended my 2nd week here. Interviewed and onboarded 100% virtually and it was fine - just like adapting to everything else this past year.
