I say as soon as possible the encouragement and the excitement to meet other people learn from them and u also learn valuable knowledge and understanding and information its not just about the pay its about the quality and value of the person is whom him or her working for that brings motivation to me i dont know how other people feel but thats my answer
I don’t stop looking, because of that gap you’re talking about. You may get to a point that you need to turn down jobs because you’re busy but always keep looking.
I've been doing the freelance thing for over 15-years.
You NEVER wait until one gig has wrapped before seeking other projects.
You have to be constantly on the lookout and have the next thing tee'd up before the active one finishes unless you have a break planned.
I always start looking before my contract is up. I don't want to have to be scrambling and dipping into my meager savings while looking for work.
It depends on how big the last job was and how well it paid. But honestly, at this point I’m always looking for my next gig. You never know how long it’s going to take you to find something.
I never have a gap. I start looking for something else before the first contract is up. The job market is rough and I don't want to risk being without a job.
