Dear Fishes, I am in a conundrum currently. I have two offers. One from Deloitte USI (17.5 LPA fixed, 1.75 LPA variable and 1.5 L joining bonus). The other is from Infosys (25 LPA CTC. Permanent WFH. Negotiation is still on for this.)
Could you please be so kind as to help me decide which one to choose?
Thanks in advance,
Fellow Perplexed Fish.

I started working in 2020 so my career has only been remote so far. I didnt feel any connection to my firm, and had no mentorship which is why I left. However, it was the complete opposite when I clerked and the firm I'm going to now (fully remote with no plans of going back anytime soon) has an established mentorship program that I've only heard wonderful things about and it has survived the pandemic.
Because my career has only ever been remote, I'd rather not ever go to the office. I fully support the idea that firms should either sell or seriously downsize their offices and pay everyone more.
I don't feel particularly connected but I'm not complaining. I don't want to develop an emotional attachment to protect myself when I inevitably move on.
I do wish getting a mentor was easier. I don't have the skills to navigate that minefield.
I want employers to continue to allow me to work from home. I love the flexibility and I feel soo much more relaxed at home. It gives me something else to focus on, especially when the imposter syndrome takes over.
I got my first full time job in 2021. Graduated law school in 2020. I feel more connected to my job which is full remote then I ever did to my part time in the office job. I have ADHD so working in a office was a struggle since people would interrupt me during my periods of hyper focus and i didn’t feel comfortable enough to move around when I couldn’t focus.
