For those looking for their next HR role, I would like to get your perspective on how your search is going. I have been unemployed previously and eventually got a job. I had much more calls from recruiters companies and that was during Covid. Lol! I even got hired during Covid. Now I don’t get any calls and I sometimes feel like I’m wasting my time applying online. I talk to people that I don’t know through LinkedIn hoping that maybe they’ll hear of a lead.

I have 5 YOE in Analytics... always thought I wanted to be a DS, but every job (even the junior ones) required experience in ML development. Though I am part of the ML project, I'm not the person develop the model. And I have a hard time when the interviewer ask about how I develop the model and what hyperparameters I tuned. I know the thought process and stuff but 'I' wasn't the one who did that part in the project. How to convince them that I could do the job without taking credit of others.

Is my manager forcing me out?

In our 121 last we had a good discussion on creating a personal development plan, with the idea being I’d write down clear goals & action points to get from my current level to the next, and I’d provide weekly evidence of it. I prepped the doc accordingly, but instead of wanting to discuss it, he said I have 4 weeks to “turn things around” - without giving any new info on what I’ve done wrong - esp given I wrote my goals based on this same feedback from last week??
