Hi Everyone! I am Edith based in Toronto, a self taught UX designer since last year April by completing Google UX certificate. I have been working volunteer UX designer for NPO and participated two UX hackathon competitions. I am actively looking for UX intern/ junior position.

Hi. I’m UXR. Actually, for started UXR you can start to take a internship first. Because, we need to know the real case of someproduct/ services we want to create. Sometimes, someone who have a knowledge about UXR its great but it will be perfect when you have an experience to build a digital product for the portofolio.
I think that IxDF it’s one of great certification and have a cheaper than NNG.
Based on my experience, actually we have no standart for accept/decline candidate if they must attach their certifications when they’re apply position as UXR. Because actually when someone who apply UXR, we as a user always check about their previous work as UXR or their experience as Researcher and deep dive their knowledge especially about how they solve the problems and how they handle problems.
The international design foundation has a ux research bootcamp that can be taken part time, so you don't need to leave work. Cost $2,500
General Assembly's UX Design Immersive bootcamp is very good for an overall ux focus. It covers ux research as well. However, it's full time for 3 months. Cost $15,000
