For those who work at a clinic, what is your policy for late clients?

If a client is running late, we try to work them in as soon as possible. However, if the clinic is already very busy, we may have to reschedule the appointment. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we will do our best to work with the client to find a time that works for both of us.

At our clinic, we have a policy for late clients. If a client arrives more than 15 minutes after their appointment time, they will be rescheduled for a new appointment. This allows us to serve our other clients on time and ensure that everyone has an opportunity to be seen.

If a client is more than 10 minutes late for an appointment, they may be rescheduled. If a client is more than 20 minutes late for an appointment, they may be asked to leave.

If a client arrives late for their appointment, our policy is to ask them to reschedule. This allows us to ensure that all of our other clients have enough time to be seen. We understand that emergencies can happen, and we will always do our best to work with clients who are running late.

We are somewhat flexible about it. If it's a quiet day, we try to fit them in anyway. If it's busy and they are more than 10 minutes late, they are asked to reschedule. If it happens frequently, we no longer see them.

Currently scheduling “on sites” for a S&O role in CA. My referrer said they can hire as L5 or L6. Would like to land in the L6 bucket as I’ve heard 5 --> 6 is one of the more challenging promotions.

I’m looking for info on what the real difference is in responsibilities (manager vs IC, cross functional vs focused, etc) so I can focus on checking the L6 boxes during my interviews.

I’m also curious about whether this is something that I should just discuss with my recruiter directly?

Last week at an office meeting the office manager, in front of everyone, without my knowledge beforehand, announced that I was the only person in the office eligible for a senior position. I was shocked and responded in that way. I have to apply for the position and after some thought I decided I didn’t want to do it. They aren’t offering an increase in base pay and giving me the responsibility of management without the title. Yesterday, I received a PIP is this retaliation?

Are you responsible for giving performance feedback? Avoid giving personality based feedback. Examples include telling an Asian person they are too quiet/shy or telling a Black person they are agressive/abrasive. DO NOT DO THIS. It clearly represents bias in Performance Management. Performance feedback should be tied to business outcomes with clear examples of what the person does well + how they can improve.
