For those who working in data science (hired for a data science job), how often does your team assign you to software development/engineering tasks. My interviewer made it clear that the position was specifically for a data science job (e.g. modeling, preprocessing, etc). It’s been 10 months and they’ve given me only software development work such as web application development and UI/UX design. I tried to talk to my boss but the response was more like “it’s a good learning opportunity.”

I don't know if this is a recent change but I’m seeing postings for junior copywriter/community manager roles. Have these roles always been attached or posted at a junior level? Is this merged role worth considering as someone young in the industry with more traditional intern and freelance copy experience.

Looking to pivot from the retail sales universe to Customer Success manager/associate….
Are there Companies you recommend that hire entry level or offer training for these type of roles?
I’ve done some courses and certificates to begin my transition and familiarize myself with the role, any advice will help…

Has anyone left healthcare and is now really happy? I’m an MSN, RN with 12 years hospital experience. I’m burned out and tired of making crap pay. I have an opportunity outside of healthcare that would pay more and challenge me in new ways that I haven’t experienced before. It’s a total shift that would really heal my work-life balance, job satisfaction and budget. My only fear is that I would not be using the license and degree that I worked so hard for. I would appreciate any input!!!!

Is it more worth it to go into FDD at a regional firm now, or hope that my current big 4 will transfer me come spring 2021?

I'm kind of in the mindset of only doing FDD at big 4, otherwise I'll go straight to industry. Am I being too down on mid-market FDD experience and the related exit ops?

Also, I can't go the route of doing FDD at a different big 4. Already got rejected by all of them cause I'm not in audit (but have CPA).
