That’s like picking between a toilet and a garbage can. If you’re looking for reliability, mark the American big 3 automakers off your list (ford, GM, stellantis)
Lexus LX570. Or Toyota LandCruiser.
GM, Chevy, Ford aren’t reliable. i’ve seen people spend 80 K on Yukons and they break after 5000 miles and are in the shop for three months. Makes zero sense. I don’t know why consumers buy these crap products.
Get a Toyota Sequoia, Lexus LX, or Mercedes GLS
Pro
Denali is a great vehicle. Especially the new ones. Lincoln is in that same class
I love ford though. The eco boost engines are great. I haven’t had any problems with my raptor and it’s a rocket for what it is
Too bad it sounds like an angry lawn mower

Chrysler products suck
We all know Toyota is the way to go for reliability, but the Sequoia doesn't come close to the same amount of cargo as a Yukon XL or Suburban. I'm a Toyota guy, but I need that space for the fam.
Ford Expedition design is getting an age statement ( since 2018). I am debating on Tahoe Premier vs New Sequoia vs Lexus LX600.
Lexus LX600 will maintain the value over time, but lacks 3rd row space and cargo space.
Sequoia ( not available yet ) has better mpg due to hybrid drivetrain, lacks cargo and 3rd row space
Tahoe Premier (2023) is rumored to come with super cruise, good cargo space, spacious 3rd row, and magnetic ride. It does not have the reliability and luxury of Lexus or mpg of sequoia.

Presuming usable/non-penalty box 3rd row seating is a requirement, I'd pass on the Lexus--that 3rd row is less than comfortable, to say the least.

I would give GM a slight edge in quality, but both are mediocre for reliability

I'm looking at a full size SUV for my next vehicle in the next couple of years as the kids outgrow my existing midsize SUV.
I looked at the current MY Expedition King Ranch and Yukon Denali, I'll take the Yukon any day over the Expedition.
I'll reevaluate in a couple of years when it's time to get the next vehicle, but unless things change drastically between now and then it's still no contest.
I personally find the GMC Yukons to be heftier and more luxurious than the Expedition. Tahoes basically the same as Yukons with a different badge and minor interior differences.
Edge/Explorer win vs the GM options tho.
Both suck donkey doodoo for reliability tho
I had a Trailblazer that lasted forever. That being said, I’d still buy a Lexus before I’d buy a Chevy again. The end of time will come before a Lexus stops running.
GM 100%
GM
A family member has a Lincoln Navigator and I am very unimpressed with the whole Ford brand after observing their experience. Features breaking frequently, poor design, just overall bad car imo.
Pro
I’m a Ford guy (2 F150s and a Ranger) that just last forever for me. Therefore, I would 100% recommend Ford trucks/SUVs, especially over GM.
