Also adding to that, I talked to a lot of people in various stages of thier life/careers, 99% of them study abroad with the intent to settle in a foreign country.
So their motive is less on studies/upskilling and more on a ticket out of India, because the chances of applying directly to any foriegn company and getting accepted, are very less.
Bhai Tera accent Ekdum foreigner ho jayega re. Bole to Ekdum Nri.
This question is something I have been thinking for the past 2 years now, and finally decided not purse higher education and stay in India only.

You can try but it only makes sense if you get into a really good college because that increases your chances of getting placed in a good company with a good package. This move only makes sense if you're planning to settle there.
There is also a possibility that someone might be willing to sponsor your visa for work related opportunities but when that'll happen depends on your skill set. If you have a niche skill set you will get opportunities quickly else it may take years.
In short if you want to settle abroad the quick way to go to study and then find a job there or apply to job opportunities who are willing to sponsor a visa.
If you don't want to settle abroad there is no point in studying outside of India. It's a waste of time and money. You will reach a higher designation eventually. If you want to fast track to a upper management position it's better to get a degree from reputed colleges in India.
