FTM dad here too, we just moved to LA, and I have like 1 dad friend, are there networking groups for parents? Does that even exist lol?

My aunt recently passed away, leaving behind 2 young girls (16 and 12 years old). I’m trying my best to be there for them and pray for them, and have been asking people to pray for them as well. Until I started question what is the point of asking people to pray for them? I know God hears my prayers, so why do we ask people to pray ?

Hi, I am a single-parent with a 9 year old daughter. Is anyone else dealing with same gender sleepovers with sexual exploration occurring? Exploring as in my daughter says outright “I am going to kiss you,” to her bestie before bed. Can someone explain how PTO works in house? I have only ever worked at a firm, starting my first in house position end of this month. I’m used to just blocking off time on my calendar if I have an appointment (like the rare occasion I have a dental appointment, well child checkup, etc) and then going. Do I really need to take PTO for these things? I’ll be working remotely 3-4 days a week for reference and I’m talking about days when I’m remote.

I have been at my company for 3.5 years. One year ago (2.5 years into my employment with them) they re-leveled everyone and I was bumped to an entry level position on the terms that they changed my job title when they re-leveled, so “technically” I am at the early stages of my new title. Even though the job duties did not really change.
