Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.
What do you think?

I'm curious what the average salary is for an Associate Agent. I'm licensed & do everything after the sale is made as well as refer new business. I have 14 years in the industry but have been at the current company less than a year, so I know that plays a part as well. Anyone in a like-position by chance?State Farm Allstate Travelers

I have many friends at Publicis Conseil.
Protecting women from domestic violence is now mandatory for insurance companies in France, since a law passed in 2023.
All insurance companies must comply. But none of them talked about it.
Then a planner at Publicis Conseil spotted the opportunity ( the young woman holding the Titanium Grand Prix on stage. She became the hero of the campaign because she saw it first). They crafted the storytelling (three words) and convinced the client to own it, publicly.
Venturelli submitted it under “Innovation” last year, before the campaign was launched, just to lock it down. He was afraid another insurer would say it too.
What changed everything? Not the brand. Not the agency. The law. But spotting that shift — and building a story around it — isn’t an easy part. That’s what they are good at.
Same thing with “Cars to Work.” The initiative was created six years ago by Renault. Another planner spotted it. Publicis Conseil rewrote the story: “three-month period for job seekers,” etc. Originally, the program was for six months, aimed at all low-income individuals, not just job seekers. But the revised narrative made it more focused, more urgent, more Cannes-friendly.
Same thing with Renault Plug-Inn. Client made it. Opportunity spotted, storytelling (the air bnb for charging ER vehicles), and another Grand Prix.
The common thread?
– Great planners digging into CSR reports and new laws
– Retro-engineering reality through storytelling
– Brave clients who play the game — and push the message hard
I am not saying it’s easy.
But it’s their methodology.
The one that put them on top of Cannes for the past 3 years.
Also please note that they are not the first to do this ( Pinatex, etc )
Wow! This is super interesting. Kudos to them for spotting opportunities and thank you for breaking it down 🙏🏽

They probably work very closely with the agency, like it’s supposed to be. That’s how agencies come up with campaigns like this, and even with products (Nike FuelBand). Lots of agencies work with clients in this way.
Pro
The agency who did FuelBand came up with the idea for the product and then built a campaign around it.
Publicis conseil came up with an idea for a change in a clients’ product and then also built a campaign around it. So there’s also storytelling and category differentiation.
There’s hardly any difference.
They have been doing that level of work for other clients as well (Renault - Cars to work, among others).
It’s the kind of client-agency collaboration and partnership any agency should strive for.
Framing it as just three words, and creating a a compelling case study and paying for award entries are a big contribution, they wouldn’t have won the award without that labour. It’s not easy and it should be recognised. The work itself isn’t important, agencies all over the world are making work but it takes a lot of talent and skill to make that work shine on a global award stage, especially when you aren’t involved in the idea creation.

Saw a few talks from agency people and client. The agency figured this change in legal terms would make a big difference for women who are trying to escape a bad situation and got the client to change it. It’s big fundamental work. OP seems to be making assumptions.
