Need help deciding if this offer is worth moving for. Received an offer from Booz Allen Hamilton for an Associate level Sr. Systems Engineer in Los Angeles for $135k base. I countered $150k and a $15k singing bonus and asked if I could be brought on as a lead associate since I've been a lead/manager for a while in my current company.
Current company TC: $125k in Utah.
YOE: 7 with M.S. and MBA
Is the switching cost/risk and higher COL worth it?
Bonus for EY S&O?
Accenture strategy C2 pay?

I've been in 8 final rounds this past year without an offer. Youre still interviewing.
I never asked whether I was still interviewing or not - clearly I am. I’m asking how to approach a conversation about comp and how detailed to go WHILE I’m still interviewing to set myself up to get an attractive offer, if I do get one, without disqualifying myself.

Start with what those reasons are. Are you more experienced ? Do you exceed their preferred qualifications? Do you think that your previous interviewers will also agree with that?
No harm in asking for more. “Top” range is usually hard to get, unless they see you as exceptional candidate. So have data to back your ask.

Offer or not, you will need the data points for why they should pay you top of the range. Doesn’t matter when you ask. It doesn’t matter if you ask now or later
