We should always advocate for ourselves, and those who can should unionize and leverage the power of collective bargaining. There comes a time when pretty tough negotiating may be required.

Start everyone new with a bonus plan. It’s very crucial to help your employees get back on their feet during a learning period at your company. Make a bonus plan after 6 months, 1 year, 2years etc. stop saying you care about your employees and show them you care for them. Your employees are not your family therefore treat them like respected employees in your company.
That's a great point! Starting new employees with a bonus plan can really help them feel valued during their transition. It’s all about showing genuine care through action, not just words.
