I hope you're joking. A private company moderating content does not violate the First Amendment. That's just not how it works.
No, it's called "lying" where people use nowadays with no shame.
I’ve worked at Glassdoor for a decade, directly with our paying customers, and I can ASSURE you this opinion is entirely untrue. My job would have been a lot easier all these years if we could give our paying customers any special treatment 😅 not for nothing, I’ve had customers cancel their contract because they *cannot* control/remove reviews.
We have Community Guidelines and if those are violated then your post may be removed. That’s it.
OP- I’m conflicted on whether I offer some unsolicited advice here, but here goes nothing: I can genuinely appreciate the passion you have for this topic, but some of your subsequent comments seem to escalate the conversation rather than help it. I suggest trying to engage a bit more constructively as you try to get your points across. I can’t help but feel that there’s a lot of “poking the bear” happening here hoping to rile people up. Please consider what you’re saying and how you’re saying it before hitting that post button 🙏🏼

It's really weird how you keep calling it a scam. There wasn't even a scam lol. Did you even read the page you keep linking to?
Tell us you know nothing about the First Amendment without using those words.
Chief
Yeah...You have no idea how the First Amendment works or what the CFPB does.
You have been removing my comments for my ex-employer Jysk as well.
Despite the fact that I have been moderate in the wording. Speaking only truth. And people need to know about the truth!
Speaking about the First amendment I can tell you, that if Glassdoor is having kind of monopoly over the labor market shared information you must get under the antitrust regulations and to be under the special attention of the consumer protection regulations as well.
Shame on you! You really behave as FB and Twitter used to do! I hope the President Trump will get to you sooner than later!

Posts are removed. It is not a violation of the US Constitution, 1st Amendment. It is in contravention to GlassDoor policy, although highjacking the thread, posting certain trademarked or unauthorized content, threatening violence or personal attacks or trolling, to name a few, will get your post removed or get you a nastygram from GD HQ.
Respond to the original poster's position. Don't make personal attacks. Don't use foul language. Be respectful and then threads will only be taken down when you go in on Orange Bronzer Boy and his white nationalist administration, lies told to get elected and abandoned on day one and the fact that eggs and gas prices are going up, while bodies of water and mountain ranges are being renamed and rallies, football games, NASCAR races and golf take more importance than viral outbreaks, super storms, planes dropping out of the skies and truck crashes, killing hundreds of people and making even more homeless and the unemployment numbers are skyrocketing. FAFO season is in full effect. This is the new reason many of you are looking for work and not finding any joy. Your pain is Oligarch's joy. Technology is at odds with this administration. The jobs will be downgraded or lost and the 400 lb orangutan in the room couldn't care less.
LOL show me on the bear where the dually elected President of the United States touched you. 🤣🤣🤣
Hmmm, in case you didn't notice, your argument kinda fell apart as you post is still up and active/viewable. I'm pretty sure if things were as you stated none of us wouldnt have even saw this. Just thought I'd point that fact out And something which your post severely lacked: facts. J/S
"even saw" punctuation marks? randOm CapItaL Letterz? Trendy!
The first amendment only applies to the government censoring speech. It did not apply to private platforms like this.
Yes. Scrum Masters are real jobs and, if performed properly, are essential to help build and maintain highly functional teams.
The most effective ones have years of experience stemming from roles in software development, team leads, AND prod ownership and product management. The hardest part of the job tends to be dealing with software engineers that have an over inflated sense of self-worth and value to a team.
They tend to be the most disruptive and cause more friction then than they are worth. Often, they lack the civility and necessary team commitment to ensure everyone succeeds… not just themselves,’. In short, immature, whiney brats, some have actual talent, are often better off … not in a team environment.
Kindness and civility is never a bad thing and it costs nothing.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
That is the First Amendment to The Constitution of the United States of America. While the public, the courts and all the officers thereof, and all the named stakeholders of said amendment, have grappled with the precise meaning and intent of the First Amendment, since it was ratified, it is largely meant to specify the Federal, state and all local governments shall not themselves make any law prohibiting those rights. It is not intended for private companies or individuals. Private companies do not make laws; they make policies. Individuals do not make laws; they make judgements and opinions.
We, the people, entreat our elected officials to follow and uphold the constitution and hold the courts to find in our favor, when those officials do not follow the constitution. No state constitution can contravene the US Constitution.
What GlassDoor, X, United Healthcare, Meta, Fox Entertainment or Tesla decide to effect as policy has no bearing on the law or the guaranties of the First Amendment or any other amendment, except that in the case of discrimination of a protected class.
You and I have the right to express our opinion, practice our religion or lack thereof, petition the government for redress of grievances, gather together peacefully and expect the press to speak truth to power or indeed, ourselves, become the press. You are the press; you are the Constitution! You vote for elected officials at the ballot box. You vote for companies at the grocery pump ⛽☮️💙
thank you for publicly demonstrating your incredibly rudimentary understanding of the 1st Amendment, well done.
Ah the “founder and CXO”.
Oh, for crying in the beans.
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
This means Congress can’t pass laws restricting your speech, or that you can’t be jailed for voicing dissenting views.
This has nothing to do with private companies moderating their forums. Get off the cross already; we need the wood.
Boo!
This is what you think you’re seeing… here?? 🤨
Glassdoor is not Congress. Consider actually reading the constitution instead of what the media tells you.
Not the sharpest pencil in the box. Private company.
first amendment rights? The one that says the government shall not infringe on your right to free speech? When did glassdoor become a government entity?
Next thing you know, GlassDoor will start quartering soldiers without our consent...!
This is why I don’t put too much energy into fighting for other people’s rights anymore; most people don’t seem to understand the very basics of how their rights actually work.
A handy guide...

Omg, I love this!
Yep. I've only posted one negative review before, for Chronotrack Timing, warning others about their scammy practices and they took it down.
I have done the same for Jysk. The company CEO was getting in not a legal way information for my pension status and laid me off just a week after I have got my first pension. It is totaly against GDPR, not to speak about the moral. And I have proofs on this
The Glassdoor maintenance unfair game, giving advances to the business, not to the citizens
Preach
lmao
For this moron and any others who don't know how to google the U.S. Constitution, specifically the Bill of Rights, here is the full text:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances".
And he's going around responding to comments by ridiculing people's designations. Ad-hominem attacks are his only comeback. He knows he's wrong about the first amendment, but he's gotta find another way to prove his point I guess by ridicule what people do. Grade A a-h0 l e.
