Going to San Juan, PR next weekend from Jersey for 3 days, anyone know if I’ll need to take covid tests? Also staying at La Concha, any recs would be appreciated!

Stayed there 2 years ago. There's a Señor Paleta right across the street 😍 Had some good meals at Mario Pagan and Cocina Abierta if they're currently open.

Also stayed there, when you in ask for a high floor facing west floor, some incredible sunset. Haven’t been down since covid so my picks could be a bust for you. Mario Pagan, 1919, Marmalade, wish I could remember the name but there was this fantastic brunch spot right now to the Starbucks a few minutes east of the hotel.

Non food recommendations, call up Magic Tarpon and book a charter. They will pick you up at the hotel. You got any stress or worries, they will be gone when you hook up on a silver king. There are 100 pound plus tarpon in the lagoon behind the airport. The first time I saw a 6-8ft tarpon breach 4 ft out of the water was damn near a religious experience.
I was going to the Old San Juan a Saturday to have a few drinks and a lot of laughs, with the fun crowds. Precovid, my wife dubbed the place Telemundo audition night. I didn’t know where to look without getting in trouble. Just bunch of gorgeous people and then you had me. Hopefully that party still goes on.

There is also a car rental place down the street. We got sold by the hotel San Juan crowd to rent a car and go check out the rain forest. Worth it, climb to the top wasn’t too bad, make sure you bring enough water. When you’re done head over to El YuQue treehouse and just start ordering plates. Mofungo, empanadas, monitors, snappers, and don’t forget the tostones… This roadside spot is money.

You want comedy gold, I pray dude is still at the marriot beach side. He just walks back and worth on the beach yellin THE BEST, THE BEST, THE BEST, looking to drum up business for massage on the beach. the 3 days I stayed there every person afterwards was the best the best. Guy was a classic. Hope your not staying for a night, I would make the drive to Rincon if you get that rental.

Anybody that has the ability to go to the islands Culebra of Vieques you have to go!!! You can drive from San Juan to the ferry port Ceiba and catch a ferry from there or you can fly from San Juan to Culebra on Cape Air. I will be posting recs as I've been to 3 times last year because I freaking loved it.

Following as I'll be going in a month. Booked La Concha as well

Following to see recs. I’m going next week too, but staying over at the st. Regis - getting there wednesday! Also, I think if you’re vaccinated you don’t need covid tests.

Had an amazing dinner at Marmalade a few years ago, could not recommend highly enough

Recently went and yes you have to register before you arrive. You are assigned a QR code and that is basically your pass https://1link.travelsafe.pr.gov/

If you are not vax'd You have to take a covid test 72 hours prior to arrival. The good thing is you don't need a test coming back to the mainland.

Doctor recommended 10mg ir mid day to combat but I still experience pretty severe fatigue as a side effect. Just wondering if anyone has found any natural strategies to cope or mitigate. Thanks!

Hi Fishes,

I gave my various rounds of interview in Deloitte USI 2 months ago, and since then till last Friday it was showing " interview in progress" on their job portal, HR said earlier that we are interviewing other candidates. I got an offer from Amazon last week and asked Deloitte recruiter to speed up the process, i didn't get any reply on my email but now it's showing " review in progress" on the job portal. What does it mean? Shall I wait for Deloitte offer or take Amazon's offer.
