Current student looking for advice. I interned at RBC Wealth Management last summer and currently have 2 offers for summer 2023 that require a decision next week: 1 for BASF (chemical manufacturing) and 1 for Peraton (defense technology); I am also waiting to hear back from SMBC (S&T), Point72, Lord Abbett, Boeing, and Shell. I hope to break into banking next summer, and I’m interested in the Natural Resources, Industrials, and Real Estate industry groups. Any advice on what to do? Thanks!

What is the correct path to obtain entry level positions in clinical research. My background is in health sciences and work experience has been 3 years as a clinical lab scientist. I have not been getting a whole lot of interviews, but the Interviews that I have secured went well but still resulted in being ghosted by the employer. Thx any advise and help is appreciated!

I have reformatted my resume to ATS but that doesn’t seem to be working either. Why is it so hard to get into the CRO industry and why is my hospital experience not translating? Thanks

Hey all! I have recently moved to a full time position wfh as a trial manager. It has been a struggle wfh so I am reconsidering my options. What positions are out there possible for transition for on site, except CRA?

I’m looking to transition from an academic medical center to pharma or a biotech. I have about 8 years of clinical research experience overall — 7 years combined as a CRC (CRC I, CRC II, and senior CRC) and 1 year as a PM. I’m also recently ACRP-CP certified.

I’ve worked with many different industry-sponsors and CROs throughout the years, but many jobs I am applying to require experience at a biotech/CRO/pharma company. Would really appreciate any advice or referrals. Thanks in advance!

I’ve worked in clinical research in the academic/non profit world for the past five years. I want to transition to a role in pharma or a CRO, but haven’t been successful yet because I don’t have industry experience. Hi all! I recently finished my Masters in Biology. I worked on a few studies with human subjects as well as animal work. I am hoping to get a job in clinical research as either a CRC or CRA. I previously worked at a doctors office as a care manager for 4 years, but outside of my academic work I don’t have experience in research. What advice do you all have for entering the field in my position?

Has anyone taken the CCRP exam? Currently looking for test prep resources and there are very few. The exam book combo I found on Amazon has mixed reviews and I think the best way for me to prep is to see the questions and get comfortable with them.

Can anyone give any insight into transitioning from bedside to clinic research? Everytime I look online there seems to be certificate programs that may or may not be a scam/waste of money.
