Hi everyone!!! Last year I put together a list of classrooms to exchange valentines with! We mailed 1 valentine to each class and included a picture if we could, and a few things about where we live and things we do!
I currently have 13 classes signed up! The more the merrier!!
We have classes CA, WI, PA, KS, TX, RI, MI, Canada, New Zealand.
I have a form to fill out if you are interested! I will email everyone the list probably at the end of the week if not sooner!

Yes it is too much too soon! My school does not allow any free imaginative play. All centers are strictly standards based depending on either math or literacy.
There is a lot that is being put on our children in K, but most people do not realize the RSA law starts in K. Unfortunately, they are tightening the law in regards to stidents in K. That data is reported to state.
Yea it is too much too soon. My school only has 30 mins of blocks/choice time and 30 mins of recess. Everything else is academic based. My students are expected to write (mainly using inventive spelling for now), read at an F&P level of at least D, and have a good understanding of many math concepts before 1st grade. Kids who don’t sadly are held back another year
It's the same with my district and it's sad. Kids can't be kids anymore, and who knows if anyone will actually listen to us who believe it's too much.
