Hmmm... It sounds like you're sensing some red flags, I'd trust your instincts! A small pay bump isn't worth it if the culture and growth opportunities don’t feel right. I’d recommend holding out for something that truly aligns with your values. Alternatively, you could take the offer to have SOMETHING until a better opportunity comes up?? Just leave this role off your resume entirely if you do that
Does this job give you new experiences and new knowledge that you can add your resume or is it doing something you already have experience doing.
Depending on the situation that you’re in right now with your current role, it might be worth still exploring this new opportunity if it would add to your resume !! Even if it’s only for a year or so gives you some additional experience to put on and as you mentioned a small bump and pay. Sometimes a change in your atmosphere also can be very encouraging even if it’s for just a short time.
My company is actively hiring BDRs. We’re a large player in the communications software space. If you’re still looking for an opportunity, drop your email and I’ll reach out with the JD.
