Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.
https://ergochair.co/collections/chairs/products/ergonomics-mesh-chair-w-adjustable-headrest-and-armrest?variant=32511617597491
My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.
AMA.

OP means 200 people at the small firm....yall are dumb
That's 100% your call...anyone giving you advice on here only sees the pay jump. Write out pros and cons and figure it out. Grats on the offer
Always consider. Unless they are in receivership, always talk and consider.
There isn't anything lower than a staff...
200k? You won't see that at EY until upper level manager or SM depending on location.
How the hell are you making 140k as staff OP?
What's the firm
Op never specified that it's a lower position
Actually it's a senior consultant position
Work visa could make it tough... Especially if you want a green card.
They do sponsor green cards, my only concern is moving from a bigger firm like EY, I loose the brand value. A couple of years later, would that matter? Or your skills? Asking all the senior folks in here. Thanks in advance.
Use common sense, of course it matters. You're going to a small firm and at a lower position there. It's pros and cons. No one can make that decision for you
I meant he won't be going to a new firm in a leadership position
How many years do you have left on the H1B?
Got it last year, so about 6?
You have enough years to go back to more "conservative" workplaces with safer path to green card if this doesn't work out.
That said, I had an offer with a startup with 3 years left on my H1B and decided to reject it because I wanted my green card. I think it was a good decision - just got my PERM filed.
Makes sense e
Yeah! 200 is the number of people. I will make about 100k if I jump.
Just got to slalom. They start experienced at like 120
@OP - Generally not worth it. I'd recommend sticking it out until you make Manager with a larger firm before going boutique. I turned down North Highland with a 40% jump as a senior. The dollars seemed huge at the time, but small in retrospective. Don't regret it at all. The options to jump to industry our boutique are a lot better at the manager level.
