I’m very early into my career (2 yrs) for context. The only points of leverage I have are market rate (tiny bit higher than offer) and current salary ( 20k higher than market rate)

Run dude. Don't go into industry so soon if you ever wanna make money.
Tell them that you are very interested in the role / team / company and would like them to match your current salary (at least) or meet $x for total compensation. Industry roles tend to have less bonus but more stocks so consider the whole picture
How'd they loow ball you that much if you had salary expectations for them.

For sure negotiate.

Yes negotiate. Factor in non-money variables (WLB, industry experience which is SO CRITICAL, new connections, etc.). You can always go back to consulting to get more money down the line. I bet you can get 10-15k more by asking to negotiate.
