Got selected in Bosch for c++ technical lead role. Intially they mentioned salary no bar .Even didn't ask my expectation. I had offer of 35fixed yoe 10+ After selection in Bosch hr told me he can't give me 35 fixed but can try for 35 CTC. I wanted to go for it thus said yes ,after 3 days follow up by me .hr said they can't even go beyond 28 CTC ... I found it really strange .. why they even interviewed ... And I don't think 35ctc at 10+ year is high salary expectation..Bosch

Paypal Hello, I've been offered Data engineer /Software Engineer at PayPal, india.
How's the company doing, is it profitable? Bit skeptical about the recent layoffs at PayPal.
Any data engineers at PayPal around? Whats your thoughts, how's the team doing and how would be the growth?
YOE - 5 TC offered : 19 Base +10k RSU (3 years)
TC seems to be a lowball, but that's their budget, no scope of negotiation.

If you need good CTC, Bosch is not for you.
Bosch pay standard salary not handsome. If you are looking for good life, WLB, job security and other benefits then go for it.
Else try for other company where you get almost everything, 80% match.
I was critical resource, got offer of 36 , Bosch not even agreed to pay 30. ( exp 7 yrs)
CTC depends on company. In 10 years people are earning 1cr also so you can not compares.
In 10 years you should get in range between 50 -60 minimum but that depends on your current CTC
Bosch is good company and i had really great experience even though i left for higher CTC.
Typical from them - faced the exact same issue. In my case that amount was even verbally agreed yet they went back on their word. Then wrote an email to them - had to compromise mid-way. Don't fall into the same trap, negotiate hard
I rejected that I won't be joining less than 35lpa as ctc as I was already holding 35 fixed in hand .yet I was okay to go 35 lpa as ctc
Maybe they decided to go for another candidate who was ready for 28
Thank you for wasting my time, you can tell. Other thing you can tell give me a best offer, take the offer make them wait but don't join.
I have offer of deustace bank ... Which offers almost same.flexibility and wlb. Not sure .. joined two days back...so wishing for it ..
But I wanted to join Bosch because of domain interest... But I think it's not good attitude they showed.. atleast they should not raise my expectations...
