I’ve been applying to entry level LLMs positions for international tax with no success.
I’m in a loss if I’m doing something wrong or maybe my profile doesn’t match what big4 in US expects from an ITS associate…
I’m a foreign trained lawyer and accountant, I’m eligible to take both the bar and the CPA (and have them both in my country).
Should I give up going back to ITS and try a different area, maybe?

So I finished my 3rd interview with a company and the TA specialist said they loved me but can’t meet me at my bottom line salary, however, I said I can negotiate and she said she’s going to speak with the decision makers and see if they’re okay with that. What does this mean? This is for a marketing specialist role. I’m asking for $70K bottom line

Planning to join OFSS as I will work in product development team and can work in any shift timings with WFH.

Today I had my 2nd round interview with EY GDS and got rejected.
Do I need to worry about this and feel low?
Could EY GDS would have been better instead of OFSS?

Hey folks, need some help. I cleared all my interview rounds and had completed the documentation too. However for more than two weeks the status on the portal is "offer initiated". The HR says the delay is happening because the people who need to approve are on leave. Are they playing around or keeping on hold? Do they actually release offer after this much delay? We’re having an Indian wedding on a Sunday with ceremony in the morning, followed by lunch, and then cocktail hour + reception.

Given that the wedding starts early, we will have guests (~30) flying in the day before. What is the expectation in terms of arranging dinner for them? I left Audit at a midsize firm to join KPMG erp implementation consulting about 6 months ago. So far they seem to only want to staff me on projects with a heavy focus on technical accounting and audit. Spoke to a lot of others who have left and seems like being pigeonholed or staffed on projects not related to the actual core work of the practice is the common reason. I've been on the fence about whether I should stay and hope to be staffed on better projects in the future or leave soon...

Recently switched from audit to advisory. Not loving it, want to disconnect and switch careers/take a role outside of accounting. Thinking about putting two weeks in before the break without anything lined up. Thoughts?
