Can anyone share their thoughts on STI (Short-Term Incentive)? I noticed that the 45% hike includes STI. Is this the same for everyone, or does it vary?

Also, do you think this is considered a good hike in Sanofi or not?

Negotiate on fixed pay. STI is variable and is paid only once a year. Also bear in mind fixed pay includes EPF and Gratuity in Sanofi. So do the calculation as for you to receive Gratuity you need to have 5 years of continuous services at the same company. Good luck!

So as the name suggest, it is variable pay linked to your performance. We can not say anything about the percentage of variable pay one might receive after one year as everybody is new. Tax depends on your taxable income and tax slab.

I’ve been a licensed general lines (2-20) insurance agent for year and a half and have sold around 2M in premium, of which most of it is personal lines (homeowners, DP), and some commercial lines business. Even though I’m licensed to write my own business, the sole producer in the company is my boss. I currently make 35k + 15k in commissions (approximately). Is this a normal salary? Or how much should I be making? Appreciate your help
